We are Ruel James and Mari, the creatives behind MARU, a husband and wife team with different strengths and excellent skill sets that are perfect when combined.
We are hybrid photographers who love to capture our clients' genuine moments through analog film and digital photography. We serve Tokyo, other prefectures in Japan, and destinations.
We love weddings! We love our marriage!
Well, for us, marriage is more than a lifetime journey. It's a beautiful gift from God! So there would be a lot of unforgettable memories we have to share. And along the way, it's normal to undergo testing to grow and thrive. So we encourage you through our craft to remember that your husband or wife must be the person you love to be with the most, whether in not-so-good times or celebrations.

Their rates are more than what we paid for! From planning, Ruel and Mari are very accommodating and helpful in crafting ideas and concept - this is superb as most p&v team will not accommodate extra requests.

What can I say...Ruel has been excellent! Really nice person, friendly and especially professional!!! It was my first time doing this and I had such a great time and enjoyed all the time during the photo shoot.I felt 100% comfortable throughout the entire shoot and Ruel went above and beyond the expectations on the day.
